On a Lucas alternator which wire goes where?

we have one thick and one thin wire, does it matter to which of the two large spade terminals the thick wire goes too?

Thin is obviously the smaller terminal- yes?

Either or both large terminals are the output - they are connected together inside the alternator.   Yes there is only one place for the thin wire which comes from the ignition lamp.
