I  need some help with my Wristwatch. It is a Tag Heuer professional and the battery has stopped. Last time this happened I had a special tool to remove the back of the watch and then I could identify the battery and order a new one.

Now a long time later I can not find the special tool or a source of batteries. If anyone can help please post a link on this forum

The Tr is away having a steering overhaul by a local specialist garage here in East Sussex. I hope that it goes better than the Watch.

Please help

Thanks for the link and I will call Clark  when they open at 9.00. I was thinking of buying the watch opening tool and finding a battery supplier.

I recently had the battery in a watch replaced by Timpsons. It’s been on a lifetime battery for over 10 years.

When we lived in Sussex, I took my Patek Philippe to a jeweller watch specialist in Eastbourne. I think he must have used a hammer and chisel on it, but denied all responsibility!

Yesterday I took my wristwatch to Clark in Lewes and they replaced the battery for £15.00 in 1/2 hour. They were friendly and efficient. The watch is now working well and I will try to remember where to go next time. Also there was a good walk for the dog along the river.
