dblenk Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 Stripping the injection manifolds and the rods and fittings are typical 1969 so a clean up and electroplating is needed what colour were they when new is it a goldish colour or silver ?? thanks David Quote
BlueTR3A-5EKT Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 Can only say what colour finish the new spares ones, rods, levers, trunnions and cams, we sold that were supplied by Triumph. That was predominately pale yellow passivated finish, although some parts like lock nuts, screws and bolts did come to us in silver finish. The later spring fix round for the top of the rising rods were always black finished. So not a huge help. Quote
