Chilliman Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 For anyone interested, the TR Reg Speed Championship is at Prescott next weekend. Looks like we'll have ten cars each day ranging from TR3a up to the V8 powered wedges plus a couple of Dolly Sprints. The weather is looking half decent & it's a lovely venue so come & have a chat. We will be in the top of the paddock above the Bugatti Terrace. It looks like the Register has also secured cheap tickets for anyone wanting to display their cars at the register stand. Quote
Ecosse Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 Hello John, How I envy members in England being supported by the TR Register at the Prescott Historique, both those competing in the Hillclimb and those who take part in the TR Register display. This weekend is the Doune Historic Hillclimb at which for the past three years has been the venue for the TR Register Scottish Weekend. Unfortunately for 2026 there shall not be a TRRSW as the event has been sacrificed for the benefit of the Car Club Fest event, something which I find most disappointing. It would appear that none of the TR Register hierarchy had any interest in the TRRSW and the situation is harder to bear by the fact that entry to the Club Display area at Doune is free, whereas it appears that the TR Register has negotiated a reduced entry fee to Prescott of £12.00. Small wonder there is an exodus of members of the TR Register in Scotland, with the word on the grapevine that a free WhatApp Group may be in the offing to TR owners in Scotland in lieu of membership of the TR Register. Regards, Cliff Quote
Chilliman Posted May 21 Author Report Posted May 21 And as an update - the weather is now looking superb both days & we are to be treated to a fly over from the Battle of Britain Memorial flight both days. Quote
