Richard71 Posted June 17 Report Posted June 17 Whilst stuck in stand-still traffic and heavy rain showers earlier today, my wipers also came to a stand still, completely dead at half sweep. Once we got moving again and the air was flowing the wipers came back to life and worked normally. Are these wiper motors prone tom overheating issues (TR6)? Richard. Quote

They can if theyve effectively "Stalled" maybe the wiper rack needs lubing. Stuart. Quote

trchris Posted June 17 Report Posted June 17 Hi Richard also try and get some lubricant in the wheel box spindles along with greasing the rack . The wipers/ washers and horn are easily neglected until they’re needed it’s always worth checking them regularly obviously with the wipers a wet screen Chris Quote
