Stanpart panels

Having had a dreadful week collecting a pile of parts in cardboard boxes that doesn't even vaguely resemble my rebuilt TR4 race car body and chassis, I've made a very difficult decision to sell my car in parts.

This car was my FIA papered race car. It was supposed to have come back to me months ago in one piece.....

Everything will be for sale, that's all of the mechanical bits along with my spares stash that includes axles, diffs an extra LSD, engine blocks and close ratio gearboxes built by Pete Cox sportscars.

For now, in addition to the mechanical bits, all of which are in good condition, there's an inner body up to the front bulkhead, along with a good condition pair of inner wings and a front panel. There's a perfect condition painted chassis, although this does have a couple of extra brackets for the full FIA certificated roll cage that I'll be removing. Then there's a full set of steel outer panels that were on the original car, apart from a bonnet that was bent. There's a one piece fibreglass surrey top style hardtop with a lightweight rear window. A pair of doors with lightweight windows.

I have a brand new unused aluminium radiator made by Ben Ferguson at Revival Motorsport Fabrications - it's a work of art. I also have another used one made by Radtec, and an aluminium rad duct

Possibly more interesting for most people is a full set of professionally refurbished Stanpart outer panels - that's all four wings, bonnet, bootlid and a pair of doors. These really are ready for prep and paint. There's no issues with the new ones that are available where they are thinner gauge steel, or some just don't fit properly. I have two sets of sills that will fit....

Anyway, all of this is horrendously depressing, but having gone through the most difficult four years or so of my life, I just don't have the will to even think about putting it all back together.

Sorry to hear this David. I feel your pain on having to move on this project. 
I hope it can all go to a new home in one go as a project.

That would be great, but I'm pretty sure that no one will be interested in it at anything close to a commercial value for it in its current state with all of the expensive bits, even though that's nowhere even close to what it would be worth as a well built FIA papered car

Whilst it's not being sold in bits to make money - I will lose significant amounts over what this car cost - full steel engine with all the right bits inside it for a start off, I'm not prepared to give it away. All something of a problem.

If I'm wrong and someone buys the whole thing to build as a race car, or track day car (it'll be lovely with all of the mechanical bits wrapped in a beautiful rust free body!), I'll be absolutely delighted.....

Failing selling it all in bits, anyone want to buy it as a complete (dismantled) car to put back together. bargain price. That can be with, or without all of the stanpart panels. Basically, the whole car is there with a full steel 89mm engine that was built by TR Enterprises using a steel crank, carillo rods, venolia pistons and all the other 'proper' bits.
