Tim T Posted June 25 Report Posted June 25 I have a choice of 2 brackets to use on my TR5 project car, as in the photo. The one with the 'kick' in the straight side is, I believe, correct for the a 5, but what is the other one. Does it matter? Is it just one of Triumphs idiosyncrasies? Many thanks Tim Quote

jerrytr5 Posted June 26 Report Posted June 26 Why would you even want it? Almost impossible to fit unless you have the hands of a child and serves no purpose. Jubilee clips on the inlet ports hold plenum fine. At least mine has never fallen off in the last 45 years without it. Jerry Quote

PodOne Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 Very easy to fit if you forget the nuts, drill the bolts to take a quick release pins along with a single washer. Fit the pins first and rotate the plenum with the rubber pipes attached with jubilees slack at both ends Much easier than messing with nuts and spanners as above unless you have fingers like ET its a PITA.
