Hamish Posted July 6 Report Posted July 6 (edited) Hi folks not really TR stuff but general knowledge question. Alvis VSCC eligibility means I have to change the front shocks Armstrong adjustable. I have fitted ( allowed) Armstrong DAS10s non adjustable shocks. I have an original pair of Luvax rotary vane for the rear. (yet to fit) both sets DAS10 and a Luvax sourced and all 4 refurbished by Iain at v and c engineering Bala N Wales. Very pleased. my question now is what model are the adjustable shocks I have removed? what would have they been off? what are they worth? Edited July 6 by Hamish Quote
BlueTR3A-5EKT Posted July 6 Report Posted July 6 (edited) That short arm on a DAS10 makes me think MGB rear. But the arm points the wrong way. Ask V&C if they have a use and would they offset their buying price to your recent overhaul cost? does this help? https://www.applehydraulicsonline.com/products/copy-of-mgb-mga-spridget-rare-adjustable-armstrong-rear-shock-absorber-1954-1980-yours-rebuilt Edited July 6 by BlueTR3A-5EKT Quote
