Junior Posted September 9 Report Posted September 9 Hi Looking for advice on my 1981 TR7 poping threw the front carburetor. I discovered after checking inlet valve clearance that although 0.20 feeler gauge go's through it needs alot of force where as the inlet valves dont could this be causing the misfire. Thank you. Junior Posted 2 hours ago Author Report Posted 2 hours ago Hi keith thanks for your response. It turn out it's being caused by a weak spark not sure why. New coil refurbished distributor new leads and plugs and ballested system seems to be working,12 volts at crank and 9 volts running. Have you any ideas as to what could be causing it Quote
