SPEEDO Internals 
 
Hello All
Still going through the inevitable teething problems after my near 3 year resto of my TR4a (and during the process having fitted a new angle drive which has now failed it seems) I have had reason (or not it seems) to disassemble the speedo doh. In doing so two thin brass washers of around 1/12" dia, another small one and a felt pad dropped out. I know they fit around the trip meter re set knob, but I am not sure in which order they go back. Does anyone have any knowledge or a picture. I appreciate any guidance.

Its Alan Graham from Gretna, Dumfriesshire again, yes I bought one of your steering racks from you a while back.
Now the CP front bumper, I can see the two side fixings look intact, ie bolts screw into but I presume the two centre fixing holes (captive nuts) are still there and operational? If so I am interested in this early bumper. I have to ask if the price is written in stone and if the deal goes ahead how do you want paid?

Hi Roy. I have a surplus bare TR6 surround in very good condition with no rust in the bottom corners either outside or underneath however, this has come at very short notice for me, I'm in France but leaving for the ferry before 05.00 in the morning. If its of interest, it would need to be collected from around Barkway, Herts, Monday evening or Tuesday afternoon. I would be asking £185 firm for it. If its of interest, please let me know asap, if it gets too late in the day then I will not be able to action its extraction and packing etc.  Cheers, Pete.
